AHHHH.... Saturdays!

So we had the pleasure to attend TWO birthday parties today. Wow, you wouldn't think but it really takes it out of you. My little neice Bailey just turned one and it was really fun to see her get so excited about all of the people who came to show their love. My sister decided to have this party at a park, which normally at the end of April would be a fantastic idea. Not this year! (what is up with this weather?) IT WAS FREEZING!!! The wind was blowing everything over and I had to walk around with a blanket on. The girls did not mind they ran around and had a super fun time even with rosey cheaks and runny noeses. We had to leave that party early to hit the next stop on the party train. Our friends little girl Hailey just turned 2! We were invited to go to their party which was at the Kangaroo Zoo! Haven't heard of it? Neither had I! Where the heck is it? I still don't know. Ok actually it is in North Salt Lake. (the city, not just the northern part of Salt Lake, and don't confuse them or the people that work there will rip your head off... speaking from a little experience.) So anyway after an hour of trying to find the dang place, we finally got there. It is an inflatable wonderland. They have all of these fun and HUGE inflatable toys. We started with the little ones and well... that did not last too long. Regan saw the BIG slide and wanted it. So this slide was huge and super hard for my old fat butt to climb and then had like an 80 degree drop which I can honestly saw made me a little quisey at first. Regan loved it! Well she pretty much just did that same slide over and over and over again. I could barely pull her away for cake. Lauren on the other hand has been very vocal about what she doesn't like these days... we went down a medium sized slide and she said very firmly " I don't like that!" So yeah mommy and Lolo got to go on the awsome baby slides, it's cool, really I didn't like the big ones. When time to go came rolling along, I physically had to drag them out of their kicking and screaming. So I guess I would say it was a hit. Highly suggest it! But after a long day I am pooped and ready for bed, but oh wait... I have homework. :(

School, swimming, and the bathroom sink.

Is there anything in the world that is as stressful as finals? I do not know why but when I am confronted with stress, I kinda shut down. I find myself doing anything but studying. Hense... the blogging. I am glad that school is going to be over for a week before summer school starts...ah... I must be crazy. I have been having fun outside of school though. Regan is finishing her swimmig lesson today; that has been so much fun to watch. I used to think that Regan was the type that was a leader and kind of a trouble maker, but really she is passive and sits and waits her turn and lets all the other kids be crazy. Lauren on the other hand who I thought was my quite and sweet child has proven to be a lot less so. She is a beast. Do not let her near your toys or you won't be seeing them in one peice. She has a lot of spunk and gets into trouble where ever she can. Her favorite things is to go into the bathroom and turn on the sink... she flooded it last week and now we can barely open the drawers in the vanity. Just pray for warm weather so that we can go outside and I can save my house from the kids.
